At the 21st edition of

AfricaCom in Cape Town this week, we've been looking at how technology has transformed expectations around customer experience in every industry. With consumers now able to instantly access information and media, a seamless experience across their media services is the priority. OTT services that provide affordable streaming services on demand are fast becoming the preference over more traditional services, particularly amongst the younger demographic.

We spoke to Mayur Patel, CEO of Kwesé iflix, one of Africa's fastest growing on-demand OTT media services, about the factors that have enabled this growth, his plans for the future of the company, and how he sees the industry transforming during the next five years.
