East Africa Com 2021: Beyond the 4IR buzz

During East Africa Com 2021, Connecting Africa editor Paula Gilbert hosted a panel to discuss how East Africans can understand and seize the real value associated with the fourth industrial revolution with a focus on skills, governance and tech applications.

The panel included Evelyn Ngatia, founder and CEO of Techawatt; Izabela Milewska, global digital skills leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS); Bhaskar Chakravorti, dean of global business at the Fletcher School at Tufts University; and Vivian Ddambya, director for technical services at the National Information Technology Authority in Uganda (NITA-U).
