East Africa Com 2021: Smartphone and data affordability

During East Africa Com 2021 Omdia's senior research analyst for Africa, Danson Njue, hosted a panel discussion about smartphone and data affordability as a key connectivity driver for East Africa.

The panel included Alice Munyua, director of Africa Innovation at Mozilla; Onica Makwakwa, head of Africa at the Alliance for Affordable Internet; and Sofie Maddens, head of regulatory and market environment division of the Telecommunication Development Bureau of the International Telecommunication Union.
